About Charlotte Croson

I am an appellate and litigation attorney with Nacht Law. I represent employees of private, State, and Federal employers in disputes with their employers including separation packages, wrongful termination, civil rights, disability discrimination, sexual harassment, race discrimination, and other areas of discrimination or wrongful termination. I represent clients in appeals in State and Federal Courts and Agencies, including unemployment and benefits appeals, and all other civil appeals after trial or summary judgment. I am admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Michigan and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and all courts in Michigan. I am a member of the Michigan Association for Justice amicus committee and Michigan Employment Lawyers Association Appellate Committee. I have written briefs to the Michigan Courts of Appeals, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court on significant issues of employee and civil rights. I graduated from Goucher College, Baltimore, MD with honors and am a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and maintain friendships and working relationship with many of my U of M classmates and colleagues. I am a member of the Appellate and Labor and Employment Law Sections of the Michigan State Bar. I also belong to the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and the National Employment Lawyers Association, a national professional organization exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent individual employees in cases involving employment discrimination and other employment matters. I began my legal career as judicial clerk to the Honorable Pamela R. Harwood, Wayne County Circuit Court, and elbow law clerk to the Honorable Marianne O. Battani, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, where I gained invaluable first hand insight and experience into the inner workings of the judicial system at both the federal and state levels.
