Mr. Thompson represents the needs of Fortune 1000 companies in all phases of employment litigation. He has tried general, commercial and professional liability cases to verdict and directed verdict. Mr. Thompson has been a binding neutral arbitrator, volunteers with the San Francisco and Marin County Courts as an arbitrator, and has acted as a mediator upon request. He has expertise in every facet of litigation from California State Courts to the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Thompson has handled over a thousand employment matters. He has extensive experience litigating all employment-related issues, including Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination matters, sexual assault and catastrophic cases for commercial clients and insurance companies. He has represented employers in wage & hour cases, as well as class actions, in state and federal courts across the United States. In addition, Mr. Thompson has significant experience appearing before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and Employment Development Department, as well as the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor.
