About Charles Hanson
Chuck is a partner in the law firm of Hale, Skemp, Hanson, Skemp & Sleik, where he has practiced for the last 36 years in the areas of personal injury, litigation, and worker’s compensation. He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Wisconsin in 1973 and then served for four years as a lawyer in the United States Air Force. He has served as President of the La Crosse County Bar Association and was a founding member and president of the Wisconsin Association of Worker’s Compensation Attorneys. Chuck is a member of the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations, the Wisconsin and American Associations for Justice, and is a member of the Litigation, General Practice, and Senior Lawyer Section of the Wisconsin Bar. He is a fellow of both the Wisconsin and American Bar Foundations. He has been designated a Super Lawyer by his peers and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He is currently completing his fourth year on the Board of Governors where he has served on the Executive, Governance, and Policy Committees and as the liaison to the Litigation Section. He is the recipient of the Wisconsin Law Foundation’s Charles L. Goldberg Award for outstanding service to the legal profession and to the public.
