I am a partner at Windels Marx Lane and Mittendorf. a 160 lawyer general partice firm with principal offices in Manhattan and New Jersey We are well known for our work in corporate matters ,commercial real estate. litigation ,banking (where we represent many of the larger commercial banks in New York City) and bankruptcy ( where we represent the Trustee in the Madoff case ). My practice is focused in the areas of M& A.. corporate finance .cross border transactions and commodities, I serve as general counsel to numerous small and mid-sized companies, advising on a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions , joint ventures, licensing and distribution and employment.matters . I am an arbitrator for ICE Futures US, the world's leading commodities futures exchange, and I represent lenders, traders, trading advisors and pool operators in commodities and futures matters.Since 1995 I have served as US general counsel to the Sucden Group,one of the largest soft commodities traders in the world. I currently serve on a Committee evaluating cocoa products contracts for a major commodities association .
