A litigator who is experienced in all types of adjudicatory hearings ranging from administrative hearings to trials and appeals before federal and state courts. I have prevailed in all of three appeals before the California Court of Appeals defending my clients' positions, two of which resulted in published decisions: DeYoung v. Commission on Professional Competence (2014) 228 Cal.App.4th 568 and Haro v. City of Rosemead (2009) 174 Cal.App. 4th 1067) (denial of class certification for FLSA based action brought in state court upheld on ground that plaintiffs could not use state class action procedures, being opt-out in nature, to certify a class contrary to opt-in nature of federal class actions).
