I have worked to acquire an extensive knowledge of healthcare regulatory, licensing, and litigation matters over the last decade. I have significant experience in managing provider responses to OCR, OIG, HHS, & OSHA investigations, as well as CMS Medicaid & Medicare Audits, HIPAA compliance concerns, internal peer reviews, criminal proceeding effects on licensing, as well as a variety of other state and federal regulatory compliance requirements for a many different practitioner license types. While I have had much success resolving hundreds of matters prior to litigation I am not afraid to continue my advocacy into the courtroom, when it would be of benefit to my client. As such I have argued before professional boards in multiple states, including the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts (OAC) and the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). My current practice is 90% regulatory, however, in previous roles I worked in more of a litigation capacity as well as a regulatory capacity.
