About Catherine Mohan
My practice covers complex products liability, toxic tort, pharmaceutical, environmental, and personal injury litigation. I represent multinational Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies nationwide and am a member of a national counsel team representing a global pharmaceutical company. I have long represented manufacturing companies in their asbestos litigation throughout the country, including Texas, New York, California, Oregon, Washington, the Midwest and the East Coast. Currently I also serve as the co-defense liaison counsel for the asbestos docket in Connecticut. Select achievements/accolades: • James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Association, reflecting superior service of the profession • Member of McCarter's Executive Committee • Started the Hartford office in 2001 and was the managing partner of the Hartford office until 2003 • Became the first woman to serve as firm Treasurer and Chairperson of the Finance Committee • Connecticut and New England Super Lawyer for 2006, 2007, and 2011-2013 editions in the Class Action/Mass Tort category, the only lawyer to be named in that category • Selected as one of Connecticut Law Tribune's 2010 Women in the Law: High Achiever's Yearbook • Recently appointed to the Chief Justice's statewide Pro Bono Task Force Committee • AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell
