About Catherine Bennett
After over 30 years as a practicing lawyer, I retired from full time practice to serve my profession and my community as the Campus Dean at Kern County College of Law, where I have served as a professor since its opening in 2017. I still practice law, part time, of counsel with Klein, DeNatale, Goldner. I am a certified specialist in appellate law, certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. As an appellate lawyer, I help individuals and businesses when litigation takes them to the courts of appeal. Sometimes when you win a case, the other side is unhappy and takes the case up on appeal. Sometimes when you lose a case, you need to take the case up on appeal. I help people who find themselves in either situation.
