My practice focuses primarily in the area of employment law. I counsel employers with practical solutions to employment issues they face each day, including matters involving discrimination laws, leave laws, wage and hour compliance, employee discipline and discharge, employee handbooks and policies, and litigation avoidance. I also defend employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, interference, retaliation and wage and hour violations. In addition to conducting discrimination, retaliation and sexual harassment investigations for employers, I am a trained Title IX investigator and adjudicator. I conduct fair and impartial Title IX investigations and can serve as an adjudicator overseeing the complex live hearing Title IX grievance process or act as an advisor to a party in Title IX proceedings.
