Empathy is important to me. I decided to become a lawyer to use my skills in advocacy and empathy to fight for persons who cannot shoulder that task themselves. One of the most rewarding aspects of representing injured persons is securing them adequate compensation for their injuries. Being with them every step of the way enables me to share their struggles and be there for them until the case is resolved. Whether you are injured in an auto accident or a trip/slip and fall, your goal is to try to heal and return to the life you enjoyed. I hold a JD degree from Syracuse University College of Law, where I was an officer and member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and editor of the law school newspaper. Family and service to the community are important to me. I have coached dozens of aspiring lawyers as a Coach with the Albany High School Mock Trial Team. I serve as Chair of the Albany County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Group, matching persons in need of legal services with panel members. I volunteer for the Lawyer for the Day program to provide free representation to tenants in eviction cases. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and adult children, and my 97-year old father.
