About Caroline Pilch
Carol is an accomplished trial lawyer who has, for more than 29 years, represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of employment and business related legal matters including complex wage claims, breach of contract, trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of non-compete and anti-solicitation agreements, employment discrimination and wrongful termination. As part of that representation, Carol presents in-house seminars explaining federal and state laws governing payment of wages and employer/employee conduct in the workplace. Carol’s practice emphasis is in the United States District Court and the State trial courts but she has also appeared before numerous other administrative bodies including the National Labor Relations Board and the Consumer Products Safety Commission, where she helped her clients oversee one of the largest consumer product recalls in U.S. history. She has appeared and argued cases before both the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court. In addition to her work in employment and business related legal matters, Carol also has extensive experience representing individuals in personal injury and wrongful death matters. Carol also offers private mediation services. Her experience, both as a litigator and as a judge pro tem who has conducted dozens of settlement conferences, provides her with unique insight into the dynamics that occur during a mediation. Carol uses that experience and insight to assist parties in reaching a final, acceptable, resolution to their issues. Carol’s peers have given her an “AV” preeminent rating, the highest quality rating for competence and ethical standards issued by the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory. She is proud to have been selected in 2011 and each year since then for inclusion in the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers, a distinction held by less than 5% of women lawyers nationwide.
