Carlos Jr

Originally from Pinar Del Rio Cuba, Carlos Carmona, Jr. came to the United States as a toddler and grew up in Hialeah, Florida. Mr. Carmona is a graduate of Miami American Senior High School and the Florida State University. Carlos graduated cum laude in 2006 from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University where he was a member of the Law Review, and graduated as a member of the publication’s Executive Board. He was also on the law school’s National Trial Competition, Mock Trial Team. For his trial performance, he was recognized by his professors for his advocacy when they named him to the Order of Barristers, a national organization recognizing excellence and honor in all aspects of advocacy and courtroom presentation. Carlos started his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County. As a prosecutor, Mr. Carmona prosecuted dangerous and violent felons on crimes such as attempted murder, attempted sexual battery, armed robbery and several firearms charges, as well as drug crimes and property offenses. Mr. Carmona was commended by members of both the Hollywood Police Department and Broward Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab for his trial work. Today, Carlos is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg handling complex claims and fraud investigations. He uses his experience as a seasoned prosecutor and investigator to root out fraud and other abuses within claims and in litigation. He is licensed to practice before all Florida State Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Carlos is married with three children.
