Carla Gunther

I represent management in all aspects of labor and employment law. I provide strategic advice and counsel to employers on workplace management and labor and employee relations matters. I have extensive experience in traditional labor law, and negotiate collective bargaining agreements, counsel employers on union-related matters and day-to-day contract administration and employment issues, and defend employers in grievance, arbitration and unfair labor practice proceedings. I also represent clients in court and before administrative agencies, including federal, state, and local human rights agencies. I prepare employment policies, conduct workplace investigations, and train employers on compliance with labor and employment laws. Prior to joining Clifton Budd & DeMaria LLP, I served as an in-house attorney for a national trade association, where I served as labor and employment counsel to the association and its members.
