His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Southern California, where he obtained a degree in political science and was recognized as a Merit Scholar, receiving USC’s Achievement Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship. Further demonstrating his commitment to the legal field, Mr. Purcell became a fellow of the Counsel on Legal Educational Opportunity (CLEO) in 1991 and served as a legal teacher’s assistant in Huntington, NY, in 1993. He is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
