Bryan Keyt

My legal practice focuses on helping clients solve business and legal issues and complete transactions with a particular focus on matters involving environmental, energy, health and safety issues. I serve as the Leader of the Energy, Environment and Infrastructure Practice Group, Leader of the firm’s OSHA Industry Team, and as a member of the Food and Beverage Law Industry Team. I am licensed in Illinois and Colorado. I represent energy clients focused on renewable and alternative energy matters including solar (utility scale and distributed generation), wind, biomass, geothermal, energy storage and district energy). My experience also includes representing conventional and alternative energy clients with respect to regulatory compliance and enforcement defense matters. I routinely represent clients in the negotiation of corporate (e.g., asset, stock and joint venture), real estate, financing, and development transactions in a wide variety of industries including energy, manufacturing, and real estate. I also have significant experience representing clients regarding the purchase, sale and development of complex "Brownfield" properties (e.g., former industrial properties, army bases, aerospace facilities) and the related risk management of environmental liabilities.
