Completed a four-year evening law program, with an IP concentration, while working full time as an engineer. Hold 10 years of engineering experience in design, statistical analysis, compliance monitoring, and technical research and presentations. A well-prioritized, attention-to-detail, independent problem solver, with excellent interpersonal skills, and possess the ability to effectively communicate technical issues and position support. Involved in policy and statutory regulation assessments, position papers, legal report preparation, and complex legal issue studies as an Honor’s Intern for CA’s Office of the Attorney General. I have established a thoroughly developed skills set of preparing and prosecuting patent applications, reinforced by patent attorney licensing (where KSR obviousness law changes were tested), and fortified through a patent prosecution skills course (where skills tested included preparing patentability analysis, arguing positions of novelty and non-obviousness, preparing patent applications, and responding to an office action).
