I am a licensed medical doctor and an attorney whose firm only handles medical malpractice cases, specializing in birth injuries, Cerebral palsy, brain injuries and wrongful deaths. My firm helps patients who have been injured by the negligence of doctors and hospitals in California, Nevada and Arizona, and represents clients throughout the United States through representation with local counsel. Prior to getting my JD degree in 1982, I worked as an emergency room physician for 10 years in Chicago and Los Angeles. I have obtained over one billion dollars in verdicts and settlements in over 700 cases on behalf of injured patients, more than any other attorney in California. I have been nominated eight different years for the Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and awarded "The 10 Top Trial Attorneys in the Nation" by The National Law Journal.
