Brian Jackson

While I have practiced law since 2005, my experience does not begin 12 years ago. Prior to attending law school, I served in the United States Air Force. During a career that spanned a total of 22 years, I worked with numerous components from the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force in the safe and secure transportation of confidential and hazardous cargo. Those interactions took place during times of both peace and conflict, to include missions in the U.S. in support of Dessert Shield/Storm as well as missions in the Middle East (Prince Sultan Air Base) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My family and I relocated to Chicago in 2005 after I graduated law school, but I continued my military service as a proud member of the 403rd Reserve Wing, located in Biloxi Mississippi, until my retirement in 2009 at the rank of Master Sergeant. Presently, I represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment issues, including traditional labor law. I defend cases before arbitrators and federal/state courts, and I represent employers in administrative agency proceedings, including state and federal departments of labor, the EEOC, and analogous state agencies. On a daily basis, I counsel employers on important employment issues that arise in the workplace, includes providing management and non-management training, and I provide solutions that help employers get back to business.
