Brian Hennigan

I am a Partner and co-founder of Hueston Hennigan LLP, a trial practice law firm with offices in Southern California and New York. I served as the Managing Partner of the firm from its founding through 2023. I previously worked as a partner at Irell & Manella from 1990 through 2014. During my last eight years at Irell, I was elected annually to the Executive Committee of the firm. I have extensive trial experience and specialize in complex civil and criminal litigation in state and federal courts. I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits involving complicated business disputes, including securities, antitrust, trade secrets and commercial fraud litigation. I have also represented a wide range of clients in federal and state white collar matters, including Fortune 500 companies, business executives and others facing investigations by the SEC, IRS and numerous other state and federal agencies. I am a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Throughout my career, I have been active with both the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association of Los Angeles. I served as the Co-Chair of the ABA White Collar Crime Committee. I was elected President of the Federal Bar Association (Los Angeles) and have served on its Board since 2006.
