About Brian Harvey
As an attorney in the Insolvency & Financial Solutions Practice Group, I focus my practice on matters involving insolvency, creditors' rights, finance, real estate, receiverships, and commercial litigation. I represent financial institutions, creditor committees, trade creditors, debtors, lessors and lessees in all aspects of bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations, including debtor in possession financing, collateral recovery, asset sales and purchases, lease assumptions and rejections, plan confirmation, claim objections, fraudulent transfers, and preference liability. I have experience representing clients in bankruptcies involving a broad range of industries, including commercial real estate, construction, retail, apparel, hospitality, media, health care and transportation. I also provide legal and strategic advice to lenders, creditors, and investors regarding the structuring, documentation, workout and recovery of loans; asset acquisitions through sale and purchase transactions; and Article 9 secured transactions and foreclosure sales.
