About Brian Baggott
Brian maintains a uniquely blended practice in the areas of complex commercial and employment litigation. Brian has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of business disputes, including cases involving claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud, tortious interference, and other business torts. Brian’s commercial-litigation experience involves diverse subject matters, including securities, insurance brokerage, physician agreements, healthcare-related disputes, commercial construction, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, software agreements and related technology, and industrial manufacturing. Roughly half of Brian’s practice includes employment defense, where he has handled actions involving non-compete and unfair competition disputes, discrimination and retaliation claims, whistleblowing matters, class and collective action wage-and-hour claims, and unfair-labor practice charges. Brian has enjoyed success at various stages of litigation—motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, appellate arguments, and first- and second-chair trials. Brian has appeared before numerous federal and state courts and his arbitration experience includes matters before the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), American Arbitration Association (AAA), American Health Lawyers Association, and labor arbitrators.
