About Brent Perry
With more than 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and appellate matters, I've had the privilege of representing clients in numerous business-related legal battles. One of the first things I tell my clients is this: “My job is to take this problem off your hands so you can do what you do best: manage your business successfully, provide good jobs, generate profits, and enhance your community.” I take understanding my clients’ businesses, problems, and goals very seriously. I’ve been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2010 and I've built a solid reputation across Texas and beyond by understanding into the bigger picture and delving into intricate case details. This allows me to strategically gather and use the correct information to create persuasive narratives that advance my clients' interests. Throughout the litigation process, I maintain a close, collaborative relationship with my clients, keeping them informed every step of the way. Over the years, my experience has taught me how to marshal crucial facts and documents that can make or break a case. I've secured numerous multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts for plaintiffs, all while skillfully defending significant claims against my clients. Representing plaintiffs and defendants has given me a unique insight into anticipating and preparing for opposing counsel's moves, strengthening my advocacy for clients. I've handled appeals in varied courts, including the Texas Supreme Court and two federal appellate courts, knowing that success in appeals often begins with the right approach at the trial court level. In 2015, I co-founded Burford Perry with my close friend, Robert R. Burford. Throughout my journey in different law firms, I've tackled significant business disputes and honed my skills in complementary appellate practice, continuously benefiting my clients. My legal career centers on excellence, a relentless pursuit of justice, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of trial and appellate litigation.
