Brad Bennett

Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. I represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment law including litigation in state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC). I represent public sector employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, impasse proceedings and before the State Employment Relations Board (SERB). I draft civil service rules for municipalities, represent public sector employers before the State Personnel Board of Review (SPBR), and counsel public employers regarding compliance with Ohio’s Open Meetings Act and Public Records Act. As a former human resources professional, I frequently assist employers with their day-to-day human resources and employment law needs, including drafting employment policies and job descriptions, establishing performance evaluations, conducting and assisting with workplace investigations, and assisting in disciplinary matters. I also conduct various trainings and seminars throughout Ohio on numerous employment law and Human Resources topics.
