About Boris Bytensky

I am one of the senior partners at Bytensky Shikhman, a criminal litigation firm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In my 30+ year career, I have conducted numerous trials and appeals before all levels of Court in Canada, defending just about every type of charge in our criminal law. I am also an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School and currently the President of the Criminal Lawyers' Association of Ontario. I am also an Adjunct Professor for Trial Advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University and a regular lecturer for Osgoode's Intensive Programme in Criminal Law. I am formerly a member of the Ministry of the Attorney General's Provincial Expert Panel on Bail for Justice on Target. I have testified before House and Senate committees. I have been a regular speaker on various legal subjects and have been a frequent media guest on radio and television. I am also a 3 time Past President of Downsview Community Legal Services, a local Legal Aid clinic. On the personal side, I have a beautiful wife and 3 children. I follow (way too closely) the Jays, Leafs, Raptors and Syracuse Orange basketball and enjoy competing in fantasy sports pools and playing golf.
