About Beth Beaube
At Maynard Nexsen, I am a member of the Board and the Executive Committee, and I Co-Chair the firm's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group. In these roles, I use my experience to assist other practice groups within the firm in which I am actively involved, including the Mergers & Acquisitions, Fund Formation & Investment Management practices. I have 29 years of employee benefits experience, and advise clients with respect to, and draft, all types of executive compensation programs and employee benefits, including qualified and non-qualified retirement, deferred compensation, profit sharing, stock bonus, 401(k), defined benefit (including cash balance) and employee stock ownership plans (ESOP). I also advise clients with respect to, and draft, welfare plans (e.g. health, dental, disability, cafeteria, flex accounts, educational assistance programs, and employee assistance programs), fringe benefits, and perquisites and with respect to both insured and self-insured arrangements, including advising clients with respect to Health Care Reform compliance. I have in depth experience in benefits due diligence and the transitioning of employees and benefit plans in mergers and acquisitions. I represent corporations and executives in connection with executive, board and management compensation issues, including all types of stock and cash compensation and deferral programs and golden parachute arrangements. I have a particular expertise in IRC 409A compliance. I also work with plan sponsors, trust departments and plan administrators on fiduciary, tax, securities, trust and corporate law issues relating to benefits and compensation.
