As a health care attorney at Much, I represent clients in a broad range of litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters. I have substantial experience litigating disputes involving health care business operations, employment issues, and contractual matters. I regularly defend health care providers in government investigations and qui tam (whistleblower) lawsuits under the False Claims Act (FCA). I have also successfully resolved numerous cases through settlement and trial, including obtaining favorable jury verdicts on behalf of my clients. Additionally, I have extensive experience representing physicians, dentists, nurses, and other licensed professionals in licensing board investigations and disciplinary proceedings, including matters before the Medical Board of California, Dental Board of California, and California Board of Registered Nursing. I have represented many physicians in medical staff and peer review investigations, hearings, and disputes, and I serve as a trusted advisor in the formation and operation of health care entities, including surgery centers, medical groups, and a wide range of other health care-related organizations. Additionally, I regularly advise clients on complex state and federal health care regulations, including compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and other Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) laws.
