Benjamin Arsenian

Benjamin Arsenian obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and a Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law in Orange County, California. In 2004, Mr. Arsenian began working at a private law firm practicing personal injury, criminal and family law. He has argued before the California Court of Appeals. In the middle of his career, Mr. Arsenian left private practice and spent several years working at the District Attorney’s office. At the District Attorney’s office, Mr. Arsenian worked closely with law enforcement. He went on ride-a-longs with officers on duty, reviewed police reports, filed charges against defendants, negotiated deals, interviewed expert witnesses and successfully tried more than 50 trials. Mr. Arsenian received training in evidence, trial technique and felony sentencing from the California District Attorney Association. He obtained several notable verdicts in difficult cases involving murder, drugs, weapons, fraud and driving under the influence. In a felony domestic violence case, he won a jury trial where the victim refused to testify. Mr. Arsenian also won two attempted murder cases and obtained sentences including life in prison. He has also taught and judged moot court competitions. Mr. Arsenian has now returned to private criminal defense where he has personally and successfully handled thousands of criminal cases.
