About Becky Walker
Becky James is an attorney who specializes in appeals and white collar criminal defense. Ms. James has over 30 years of legal experience. She received both her undergraduate degree and her law degree from Stanford University (A.B. '87, J.D. '90). Following law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Pamela Ann Rymer on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She later became an Assistant United States Attorney in Los Angeles, California, where she held the positions of Chief and Deputy Chief of the General Crimes Section and Chief of the Criminal Appeals Section. Since leaving the U.S. Attorney's Office, Ms. James has been in private practice, representing civil and criminal defendants in complex cases in federal and state courts, and she also created and served as the Chief of the Public Defender's Office for Atascosa, Wilson, Firo, and Karnes Counties in Texas.
