My primary areas of practice include bankruptcy, debt settlement, debt collection, commercial litigation, insurance and real estate. My clients are mostly based in Northern New Jersey including the counties of Essex, Union, Passaic, Bergen, Morris, Hudson, Sussex, Middlesex and Somerset. I have twenty three years of legal experience. I've been retained by debtors and creditors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. I've also initiated foreclosure proceedings, drafted deed-in-lieu of foreclosure documents, negotiated loan forebearance and modification agreements as well as short sales. I have operated my own law practice for the past 23 years, having processed and managed thousands of bankruptcy, debt settlement/collection, real estate, commercial litigation, corporate and insurance matters. I've appeared in federal court in NJ and NY for trials and settlement conferences in bankruptcy (federal) matters and in the NJ state courts for my real estate, litigation, corporate and insurance cases. I'm proficient and passionate in my representation of clients and very much dedicated to zealously advocating on their behalf. I'm also quite adept at writing memoranda and briefs and making the persuasive arguments that my clients expect from a competent attorney. I've also represented individuals and businesses in the purchase, sale, lease and refinancing of residential and commercial real estate contracts and loan financing agreements and, in my part-time work as a loan officer in 2006, I became skilled in analyzing loan and owner title policies, credit documents and loan applications. This work has significantly complemented my bankruptcy, debt settlement/collection and real estate representation.
