Ashley Silberfeld

I have been an attorney for over 20 years and chose to practice family law to help people through one of the most difficult transitions in their lives. I use my background in complex civil litigation to represent clients in all aspects of family law, including high-conflict custody, complicated property, and support issues. I have particular expertise in handling interstate and international cases involving child custody and support, which have become prevalent due to the pandemic as families are more mobile geographically. As a single mother by choice and child of divorce, I’ve experienced how complex matrimonial and family law can be firsthand. Having gone through IVF and surrogacy to build my own family, I have a particular interest in how these topics are addressed in divorce cases, prenuptial agreements, and postnuptial agreements. I strive to work with clients to settle and mediate cases to minimize attorneys’ fees and give the parties as much control over what is most important to them: their children, their assets, and their livelihood. If couples cannot resolve their issues informally, I have extensive litigation and trial experience to represent and guide clients through formal court proceedings.
