Ashley Emerzian

Ashley attended Bullard High School and is from Fresno, CA. In 2007, Ashley graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Psychology, and subsequently earned her law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2011. Ashley graduated in the top 5% of her law school class, and is an elected member of the prestigious Order of the Coif. As a law student, Ashley participated in the Moot Court and Trial Practice programs, received the UC Davis Public Interest Law Certificate and was honored with Witkin Awards for academic excellence in the areas of Property Law, Juvenile Law and Reproductive Health Law. She also interned during law school with the Yolo County Public Defender's office, the California Department of Justice and two Sacramento civil litigation firms. Ashley is currently a founding shareholder at Emerzian Law Group, a cloud-based law firm located in Central California providing legal services to local schools, businesses and non-profits in the following areas: Title IX, general counsel services, labor and employment law, public sector retirement law, general business law and contracts, corporate law, workplace and school investigation services and commercial/residential landlord-tenant matters. Ashley previously worked at the Assemi family of companies. In this role, Ashley primarily served as in-house general counsel to California Health Sciences University, a private college providing graduate programs in the health sciences. Ashley also regularly provided legal services to sister companies, including Granville Homes and Assemi Group Inc. in the areas of business and employment law.Ashley also previously served as Senior Counsel with Lozano Smith. As an Education Law attorney, her practice focused on representing schools and colleges, primarily with general counsel, student, public retirement law, labor and employment law matters. Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Ashley practiced as a business litigation attorney.
