Arturo Hernandez represents employers in all facets of labor and employment law. Defending clients against discrimination, harassment, and tort claims under federal and state laws; investigating claims brought before the various federal and state administrative agencies; providing sound legal advice regarding employment policies and documents; and advising employers in strategies to acquire and retain the best in international employees. Experienced in advising employers and businesses on corporate and organizational issues, compliance plans, policies and procedures. Including international and business immigration focus, assisting companies with the various U.S. Department of Labor regulations, and defending employers in government investigations triggered by allegations of immigration non-compliance. Regularly counseling employers on federal and state wage and hour laws, worker misclassification issues, discrimination complaints and EEOC charges. Assisting employers in preparing personnel policies and handbooks, severance, employment and all manner of employment agreements.
