About Armando Berriz

Armando J. Berriz graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. In 1994 he graduated from Pepperdine Law School with a Juris Doctorate. On his first attempt he passed the California Bar Examination and has been admitted to practice law throughout California and Federal Court in the United States District Court, Central District of California since 1994. In 2003, Armando continued his legal education by completing the coveted Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Law School's Staus Institute for Dispute Resolution. He has since served for and received appreciation from the Los Angeles Superior Court and Ventura Superior Court for serving as a neutral for alternative dispute resolution and Mandatory Settlement Conference Officer. Since partnering with John Neustadt and forming Neustadt & Berriz, Mr. Berriz has successfully represented hundreds of clients, recovering millions of dollars in the aggregate for them in a wide variety of personal injury cases. A seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Berriz is a member of the most respected association of trial attorneys, The American Board of Trial Advocates, California Coast Chapter. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. In addition, Mr. Berriz is also a licensed real estate broker and a notary public. Armando and his wife, Catherine, have three fantastic children. two girls and a boy. Mr. Berriz has surfed all over the world, paddles in international competitions, stand-up paddles, dives, and is a boating enthusiast.
