About Armand Tinkerian
1) 5 opposing attorneys (!) referred cases to me. 2 opposing (!) lawyers offered me a job after adversarial trial hearing. 1 opposing attorney held me twice. 3 opposing parties (later) asked me to represent them after I prevailed against them. I should say a lot...2) One of the highlights of my career was an opposing party asking me to represent him. He Sued My Client For $5,000,000! After the main plaintiff case, I successfully moved for 631.8. (For the layman, after his Beverly Hills attorneys presented their evidence and my cross-examination, and without me presenting any evidence, the judge dismissed the case.) His lawyers asked for another chance. The case went to trial. Once again, I got a defense verdict. A few years later he called me and asked me to represent him in another case. (Smiles.) Life never ceases to amaze me.3. I know the needs of businessmen and entrepreneurs, since I was a founding partner of an organic food company.4. Some highlights: a) The US Department of Justice required a pharmacy to pay back $50,000,000 (yes, that's fifty million) for violations. The pharmacy paid a ridiculously small fine. No criminal charges were filed. The pharmacist kept the license from him. I sold the pharmacy for a little less than the FMV (b/c buyer's fear of the FBI investigation)b) A nurse's license was revoked. The revocation was rescinded and the Board of Nursing was ordered to pay $11,000 in legal fees to my client.c) Medicare placed a home health care agency on prepayment review, dramatically reducing cash flow. I lifted the sanction in 3 days (unheard of because the bureaucracy takes 6 months to do something)d) Medicare placed a clinical laboratory in prepayment review, which drastically decreased cash flow. The lab was facing bankruptcy. Within 2 weeks (!) he began to collect on time. e) Medicare required 3 doctors to pay $1,800,000; $1,200,000 and $900,000 respectively for alleged false invoices. My clients paid nothing. Zero.f) The provider number of the medical supply company was suspended. He prevailed after an appeal.
