Anthony Noel

Tony Noel, a Partner at Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, concentrates his practice in the areas of employment and litigation. Mr. Noel has extensive experience litigating employment law cases on behalf of management, including cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and applicable state employment statutes, as well as cases involving the enforcement of employment contracts and non-compete covenants. Mr. Noel also handles all aspects of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Tennessee Human Rights Commission charges. Furthermore, Mr. Noel regularly counsels employers on employment law compliance and litigation avoidance, including such issues as management and employee training, wage and hour law, enforcement of non-compete covenants, employment contracts, drafting and implementation of employment policies and handbooks, drug testing, recordkeeping, employee privacy rights, workplace investigations and compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination laws. He also has extensive experience working with carriers and their insured's in the defense of EPLI claims. Mr. Noel also has extensive experience handling matters involving premises liability, negligence, and general liability actions. Tony Noel is a regular speaker at public seminars on workplace law issues and has authored several articles on a variety of employment law related topics.
