Anne Gyemant-Paris

Anne Gyemant Paris is a San Francisco attorney focused on fertility and assisted reproduction issues, surrogacy, and adoption. She works with all parties in assisted reproduction, adoption and parentage cases. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley and U.C. Hastings College of Law, Anne began her career as a Presidential Management Fellow working on the area of international adoption and family-related immigration policy at USCIS. She went on to launch two successful legal services programs focused on family domestic violence. She has continued to serve families through her practice in family formation, adoption and fertility law. Anne created a pro-bono program in the San Francisco Superior Court for volunteer attorneys to represent victims of domestic violence in restraining order hearings. She also created and launched Legal Services programs for La Casa de las Madres and Break the Cycle in San Francisco, where she provided legal advice on restraining orders, family law, immigration and employment law issues to women in crisis situations. Anne has spoken on various panels, and has served as a board member for several organizations. She is Past President of Queen's Bench Bar Association and a graduate of the Emerge program, a political leadership training program for democratic women.
