About Anne Fokstuen
I am a family law attorney with extensive trial experience and a strong litigation background. I am passionate about helping people with their problems and helping clients find the right strategy for their situation. I am also a certified family law specialist. My trial experience and criminal defense background gives me an edge in handling cases involving restraining orders and criminal allegations including domestic violence. Before becoming a lawyer I worked on Wall Street and my business background, which includes an MBA, allows me to think strategically about my client's financial situation and develop creative solutions to complex financial issues. As a former journalist I have excellent writing skills which I have put to use to help my clients by drafting motions to help my clients win victories in the court room. My international background includes time spent living and working in Europe and in Hong Kong. I am fluent in French, German, Spanish, Norwegian and Swedish and proficient in Italian. I have acted as a business development consultant for a web based start up.
