About Andrew Gustafson
In addition to more than 15 years of legal experience in Bankruptcy court in Utah and California, Andrew has has a passion for leveraging technology to optimize processes in the bankruptcy realm. Andrew created both the Debtor Education and Certification Foundation (“DECAF”) and Money Management International Bankruptcy.org consumer education programs. These programs have provided over 1 million hours of debtor education and credit counseling. He was instrumental in the development of BK Express, the number one selling case management program for bankruptcy attorneys. Andrew created an educational website for loan modification clients which was the first of its kind and was jointly funded by HSBC, Money Management International and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Andrew started CounselKit, which is an advanced, by-invitation-only, all-in-one software suite for bankruptcy attorneys. Andrew's deepest work is BankruptyWatch, which gives customers (primarily loan originators and servicers) with NextGen access to Bankruptcy Court data, including cutting edge PDF data extraction.
