Andrew Dennington

I am a trial lawyer who primarily focuses on commercial litigation, securities industry disputes, employment law, and professional liability. I have represented clients in federal and state courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, administrative bodies such as the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and in arbitration proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). I also have experience representing individuals charged with fraud, regulatory infractions, and other felony charges in criminal prosecutions and government investigations. I regularly defend employers against claims of discrimination and wage and hour violations, and in disputes involving trade secrets and non-competition agreements. I frequently represent professionals in malpractice claims and disciplinary proceedings. My practice also includes zoning and land use disputes. I have tried and won business litigation cases (both jury and jury-waived) obtaining for clients multiple damages under Chapter 93A. I represent both investors and financial advisors in claims regarding suitability, failure to supervise, and elder abuse. This includes arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as well as litigation in federal court. I also have experience in post-closing disputes arising from M&A transactions. I serve as co-chair of the firm’s pro bono committee and am actively involved in municipal government, currently serving on the Select Board for the Town of Southborough, MA where I was past chair of its Zoning Board of Appeals. Before attending law school, I worked as a congressional aide in Washington, D.C. I am active in Boston’s pro bono legal networks and the Boston Bar Association, where I have been Co-Chair of its Consumer Finance Committee, Consumer Finance Working Group, and Business Public Policy Committee.
