Andrew Caine

As Chair of Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones’ Post Confirmation Practice Group, I oversee the entire spectrum of claims and avoidance litigation for debtors, creditors committees, trustees, liquidation or post-confirmation trusts, and defendants, from “mega cases” to smaller, individual matters. I also spend considerable time representing survivor committees in Catholic archdiocese bankruptcy cases, advocating not only for just compensation, but also for enhanced policies and procedures to protect child safety. I bring an experienced, responsive approach to all disputes that might result in litigation, and have lectured nationally on such topics. I had the honor of serving as President, Chair and Board Member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the world's largest insolvency organization with over 12,000 members. Martindale-Hubbell has given me the highest peer recognition for ethical standards and legal ability (“AV”) and, for the past many years, I have been named by Law & Politics and Los Angeles Magazine as a Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights "Super Lawyer," an honor bestowed on only 5% of Southern California attorneys. I am also a member of the Mediation Panel for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. I spend meaningful time teaching and working with high school and college age students. I have many years experience as a classroom teacher in the social sciences and baseball coach, as well as a mentor/life coach and volunteer.
