About Andraya Brunau
I am partner at Day Pitney LLP where I chair the firm's IP Litigation practice group. My practice focuses on trademark and copyright litigation, where I represent established and emerging brands in federal courts and before the USPTO's Trademark Trial Appeal Board. I also help brands build and implement trademark and copyright enforcement programs. I have deep experience in the consumer goods industry, including representing clients in the toy, athletic equipment, clothing, food and beverage, health and beauty, wellness, home goods and cleaning industry. Clients appreciate my business-forward approach, and practical advice. I thrive in difficult situations. I am known for my ability to find common ground with even the most difficult personalities -- whether it be anchored opponents or hangry toddlers. I also have experience litigating business disputes, including torts, breach of contract, fiduciary duty, and probate matters in Connecticut and Massachusetts state and federal courts. I have represented clients in the finance, manufacturing, and aerospace industries. I am a firm believer that women achieve greater success by lifting each other up. In my role as co-chair of Day Pitney Women Working Together®, I developed firm wide programs designed to foster personal and professional growth, and build community. In 2023, I launched the bi-annual WWT Retreat, with my co-chair Erin, where we brought together 50+ attorneys for business development training and roundtable discussions which led to better parental leave policies. In 2025, we brought together 55+ attorneys in Stamford, CT for a half-day workshop on The GRIT Project report published by the American Bar Association's Commission on the Status of Women in the Profession of Law.
