Amber Grayhorse

After more than fifteen years of defending employers across California, I now leverage that litigation-tested experience in-house to serve as a strategic partner to global HR and business leaders in fast-paced sports, entertainment and technology industries. As a trusted advisor to organizations and talent operating at the highest levels, I provide practical judgment, clear risk calibration, and the ability to navigate novel, high-stakes challenges. I partner closely with leadership to develop creative, pragmatic solutions that balance legal exposure, operational realities, and organizational culture in dynamic environments. In-house, my practice focuses on advising people and business leaders across the full spectrum of employment matters, while also collaborating with senior leadership and outside counsel on employment litigation. Key areas of focus include restrictive covenants, global mobility and workforce strategy, inclusion initiatives, safety and security, contingent workforce management, business reorganizations, M&A diligence and integration, and anti-harassment training. I am deeply committed to building workplaces that reflect all of us, as well as mentoring the next generation of lawyers and leaders. I actively participate in the California Minority Counsel Program and the National Employment Law Council, and am honored to have served as a Lawyer Representative to the 9th Circuit Judicial Conference for the Central District.
