Amanda Simpson

Amanda Simpson helps employers handle workplace disputes from proactive advice and counsel to litigation and arbitration. Ms. Simpson co-leads Jackson Lewis’ Restaurant Industry Group and co-leads the Mass Arbitration subgroup of the firm’s class action and complex litigation practice group. She devotes the majority of her practice to counseling and defending employers regarding any workplace-related matters. Ms. Simpson’s primary practice includes representing clients on a broad array of employment issues, including wage and hour disputes, claims of discrimination based on disability, race, age, national origin, sex and other protected characteristics, retaliation, sexual harassment, FMLA and ADA, breach of contract, Fair Credit Reporting Act and privacy claims. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Simpson practiced commercial litigation in Orlando and South Florida in federal, state, and appellate courts covering a vast number of practice areas, including employment litigation. Ms. Simpson has successful trial experience both in the state and federal court levels and argued in front of the District Court of Appeals.
