Allen Etish

Allen A. Etish is a member of Earp Cohn P.C.’s Commercial Litigation and Corporate, Business and Tax practice groups. He represents business and individuals in complex business disputes in the Federal and State Courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and before Federal and State administrative agencies. Additionally, Allen frequently appears in United States Bankruptcy Court in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Allen has litigated matters involving shareholder derivative suits, oppressed minority shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary business relationships, release of proprietary information, sexual harassment, age discrimination, gender discrimination in state and federal courts and preference actions in Bankruptcy Court. Allen is a former President of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as a former President of the Camden County Bar Association. He also served as President of the Camden County Bar Foundation. Allen has lectured on a number of topics for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, National Business Institute, Camden County Bar Association and other educational providers on Chancery Practice, Federal Court Litigation, Best Practices and other related topics. He has served on numerous New Jersey Supreme Court committees and, as recently as 2013, co-chaired the Equity Jurisprudence Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Allen was the 2006 recipient of the Devine Award given by the Camden County Bar Association, their highest honor for service and excellence. He is also “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected numerous times as a “Super Lawyer” in Business Litigation by Thomson Reuters.
