Alex Dell

Alex Dell is the founding attorney of The Law Firm of Alex C. Dell, PLLC based in Albany, New York. The firm consists of eight (8) attorneys who represent individuals with their New York State Workers’ Compensation, Volunteer Firefighter Benefit, NYS Disability Retirement, Social Security Disability, and Supplemental Security Income claims. A 1991 graduate of Binghamton University and a 1994 graduate of the City University of New York at Queens College School of Law, Alex worked as an associate and later partner from 1994 to 2005 at Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP, in Binghamton, New York, where he was a member of the firm’s Disability Benefits Practice Group. Alex frequently educates labor unions and attorneys throughout the State about the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law and is the current Vice President of the Workers’ Compensation Division of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Alex is also an active member of the New York State Injured Workers’ Bar Association. In 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Alex was selected to the Upstate New York Super Lawyers list as a top Attorney. Alex has also been accepted into the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, Class of 2016! The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers honors those attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the practice in the field of workers’ compensation. Members have been nominated for the outstanding traits they have developed in their practice of twenty (20) years or longer, representing injured workers, employers, serving as judges, or acting for the benefit of all in education, overseeing agencies, and developing legislation. Alex is one of only fifteen (15) lawyers from New York who have been accepted into the college.
