About Alessandra Whipple
I advise and represent clients in matters involving California labor and employment law. My experience includes advising and defending companies with workforces in California against various alleged employment disputes involving claims of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination and retaliation, breach of contract, unfair competition, trade secrets, and whistleblower claims. I frequently counsel clients on compliance strategies and implementation to enable them to take a proactive approach to mitigate the risks and costs associated with employment matters. Prior to joining private practice, I served as an in-house counsel for a California publicly traded financial institution, advising on matters concerning public disclosure, corporate strategy, and labor and employment issues. Combining my business, legal acumen and experience as an in-house lawyer, I have a greater understanding and ability to focus on what matters the most to corporate counsel; containing legal spend, and taking a preemptive approach to ensure compliance with California labor and employments laws to avoid potential claims before they arise.
