Adam Dombchik

I am recognized by the California State Bar as a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation, applying that expertise to representing injured workers in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California. I have been selected consistently for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers. I have been named one of the Most Influential People in the Workers' Compensation Industry by the editors of Workers' Comp Executive. I was named by the Workers' Compensation Section of the State Bar of California its 2011 Applicants' Attorney of the Year. I am a Past President and Legislative Committee Chairperson of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association (CAAA), a 1,000-member statewide organization that advocates for injured workers' rights. CAAA is the largest state injured worker advocacy group in the nation. I currently serve on CAAA committees, including the Education Committee, Political Action Committee, and the Regulations Committee. Previously, I also served as president of CAAA’s Southern California chapter. In 2016, I received the Marvin Shapiro Award for Excellence, presented by CAAA’s Southern California chapter. I began advocating for the rights of the injured early in my career. I started working for GEKLAW in 1994 while attending night school at Southwestern University School of Law, where I received the Exceptional Achievement Award in Workers' Compensation Law & Practice. In 1999, after graduation, I joined as a full-time lawyer and was named partner in 2005. I now serve as an adjunct professor at Southwestern University School of Law, teaching a class entitled Workers’ Compensation Law and Practice. I received a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication, with honors, from Pennsylvania State University. I am licensed to practice law in California and Florida.
