Aaron Minnis

I provide advice and legal representation to executives, professionals, and employees who are navigating complex and sensitive work issues. Since 1999, I’ve helped numerous clients resolve employment law matters through the most efficient and appropriate means available in each case, including at mediation, through litigation, at trial, and after appeal. I’ve built and maintained strong litigation skills by trying cases in various practice areas including employment, business, probate, and landlord-tenant. I’ve successfully represented many clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, administrative forums, mediation and negotiation. My focus is on helping employees defend their rights in the workplace and pursuing accountability for employers who violate the law. My practice concentrates in wrongful termination, retaliation & whistleblowing, discrimination, harassment, unpaid compensation, and medical and pregnancy leaves of absence. Giving back to my community and helping to advance the legal profession are both important to me, and I’m active in several local legal organizations, including SFTLA, CELA, BALIF and the Employment Section of the San Francisco Bar Association. Presently, I volunteer as an Arbitrator with the Bar Association of San Francisco Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program, a Judge Pro Tem for the San Francisco Superior Court, and as a Supervising Attorney with Legal Aid at Work.
