About Elizabeth Faulkner
ELIZABETH A. FAULKNER is the founder of Faulkner Law Offices, practicing in all aspects of employment law, including both for individual employees and management. Ms. Faulkner has extensive trial and appellate experience. She received her J.D. with honors from Arizona State University College of Law in 1990, where she served as a legal writing instructor and as Managing Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. She also was awarded a scholarship to study under United States Supreme Court Justice William Brennan. Prior to entering private practice, she served a prestigious clerkship with the Arizona Supreme Court for Vice-Chief Justice James Moeller. Before beginning her own firm in 1996, Faulkner Law Offices, Ms. Faulkner practiced at Gust Rosenfeld, P.L.L.C., from 1991 to 1996 in civil litigation and appellate work, with an emphasis in employment law and insurance defense. She has extensive experience in counseling employees and employers in discrimination law, wage and hour law, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, executive employment contracts, personnel policies and manuals, discipline issues, trade secrets/anti-piracy and non-compete agreements. Ms. Faulkner’s practice also includes complex commercial litigation, personal injury, insurance defense and construction litigation. During her career, she has successfully settled hundreds of employment claims, tried numerous arbitrations, participated in scores of mediations and tried cases in state and federal courts. In addition, she counsels parents of special needs children as to their educational rights. Ms. Faulkner has authored several Law Journal articles and has lectured extensively throughout her career on employment related topics and is a member of various professional organizations. She is listed in Who’s Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs.
