About Steven Evans
I’m a native of Arizona and have lived in the Phoenix area since 1962. I’ve been a trial lawyer for 27 years. I work hard to get the best possible results for my clients, and I like to win. My law practice focuses on litigation and trial of professional malpractice, serious personal injury, and contested probate cases. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Arizona State University in 1986 and a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University in 1989. During law school at ASU, I also completed the course work for a master’s in economics through a joint degree program between the College of Law and the graduate school of economics. I’ve been practicing law in Arizona since 1990. Since the beginning I’ve focused my practice on civil litigation in State and Federal courts. I’ve handled numerous civil matters through trial as well as a number of appeals, primarily in the areas of personal injury/insurance litigation, contested probate litigation, professional liability litigation, and commercial litigation. While my firm still handles commercial matters (including transactions) my personal practice is focused on litigation of contested probate matters (decedent’s estates, trust disputes, and protective proceedings), professional liability cases, and personal injury cases. Good lawyers use the benefit of life’s other experiences to be better lawyers, and I’m proud to also be a dad, a husband, a musician, a mountain biker, and a friend. Along with my pre-law work experiences (washing dishes, making pizza, selling sporting goods, and unloading/loading trucks) those experiences give me a better perspective on what my clients are going through and how I can help.
